Mobile Banking is a service provided by the Bank or Financial Institution that allows its customers to conduct financial transactions such as monitoring account balances, transferring funds between self or other accounts remotely using a mobile device such as a Smartphone or tablet.

When everyday is a race against time in our busy lives, we are looking at saving time everywhere possible. When it comes to daily errands, online banking has made the visits to bank a rare occurrence.

Yes, today’s technologies are secure and new security enhancements are made each and every day. Proven technologies are used to keep your personal information secure while utilizing the convenience and ease of mobile banking app.

However, secure your app there are few precautions that you can take as a safeguard, not only with mobile banking app, but with any of your Smartphone apps

  • Access your Smartphone applications using a secured network, such as password protected WIFI network.
  • Update your password regularly, use a complicated password and use a password that is not tied to other online accounts (i.e. Email, Social Media, Other bank accounts).
  • Use a pass code on your Smartphone to add on extra layer of authentication.

SSPM has decided to introduce mobile banking in its daily transactions. Firstly the customer will need to register his mobile number in his/her account at the branch. After registration, the customer can download the app from the play store on his/her android Smartphone and register the same using Mobile Number.
